Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 31, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ApexOne VPN ("App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you download, install, access, or use our Android application and related services. Please read this policy carefully before using the App.

By installing or using ApexOne VPN, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please uninstall the App and stop using the service.

This policy is designed to meet Google Play requirements for user-data transparency, including disclosure of the types of data collected, why they are collected, how they are shared, how they are secured, and the choices available to you. The practices described here should match the information declared in the Google Play Data safety section for ApexOne VPN.

1. Service Description

ApexOne VPN is an Android application that uses the system VpnService API to create a device-level VPN tunnel. When you connect, selected network traffic may be routed through configured VPN or proxy endpoints so you can manage your connection and reach network resources through the route you select.

You are responsible for using the App in compliance with applicable laws, the terms of any network or content provider you access, and our Terms of Use. ApexOne VPN is a connectivity tool only. We do not encourage, enable, or support unlawful activity, unauthorized access to systems or content, or any use that violates the rights of others.

2. Information We Collect

ApexOne VPN does not require you to create an account. Depending on how you use the App and which features are enabled, we may process the following categories of information:

3. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

We do not intentionally collect or store the content of your browsing activity, such as the full text of websites you visit or the contents of your communications, in order to build a personal browsing profile. We do not sell personal information.

Like most network services, technical metadata (for example, IP addresses, connection timestamps, or bandwidth usage) may be processed by us or our infrastructure providers as needed to operate the service, maintain security, and prevent abuse. We limit such processing to what is reasonably necessary for service operation. We do not claim a "no-logs" practice beyond what is described in this policy.

4. Permissions We Request and Why

To provide core VPN functionality, the App may request or rely on the following permissions:

Permissions are requested only as needed for the features described above. You can review or revoke certain permissions in your device settings. Denying a permission may limit the related feature.

5. Foreground Notification

When the VPN is active, Android requires a persistent foreground notification. This notification may show connection state and estimated upload and download speeds. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings. Declining notification permission may affect how connection status is shown, but it does not by itself grant VPN access.

6. How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Advertising, Analytics, and Third-Party Services

ApexOne VPN may use third-party services that process limited information on our behalf or according to their own policies. These services may include:

These partners may collect and use information — including device identifiers, advertising IDs, app events, and interaction data — in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable consent requirements. For more information about how Google uses data, visit https://policies.google.com/privacy. You may also review Google ad settings and your device privacy controls to manage ad personalization where available. Meta's practices are described at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Third-party infrastructure providers process data only as needed to deliver the connectivity service and are expected to apply appropriate security measures.

8. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information only when necessary, including with:

We do not share personal information with third parties for their independent marketing purposes except as described in this policy or with your direction.

9. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information during transmission and processing. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and maintain security. Session-related information shown in the App is primarily processed on your device. Any server-side retention is limited to what is needed for service operation, troubleshooting, analytics, and legal compliance.

You may stop further collection by disconnecting the VPN, adjusting device permissions and advertising settings, or uninstalling the App. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored app data from your device, subject to your operating-system backup settings. To request deletion of information that we may hold, contact us through the channels in Section 16. We will review and respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.

11. International Data Transfers

Depending on the server or node you select and the location of our service providers, your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Those countries may have data-protection laws that differ from the laws in your jurisdiction. Where required, we take steps reasonably designed to protect information transferred internationally.

12. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

You can disconnect the VPN at any time within the App. You may also reset your advertising ID, limit ad tracking, or adjust ad personalization through your device settings. To exercise privacy rights or submit a request, please contact us using the details in Section 16. We may need to verify your request before fulfilling it.

13. Children's Privacy

ApexOne VPN is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum digital-consent age required in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in certain regions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and delete such information where required by law.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or App features. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy in the App or through our official channels and revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of ApexOne VPN after the updated policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the changes, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Google Play Data Safety Alignment

This Privacy Policy is intended to satisfy Google Play disclosure expectations for apps distributed on the store, including transparency about data collection, use, sharing, security, retention, and user choices. The information practices described here should align with the details provided in the Google Play Data safety section for ApexOne VPN. If a Data safety declaration and this policy ever differ, this policy and the in-app disclosures control until the listing is updated.

16. Contact Us

If you have questions, concerns, or privacy-related requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your personal information, please contact us through the developer contact option on our Google Play store listing or through in-app support features (where available).
